Synopsis: Drama. The lives of several female characters are linked in an episodic story set in the San Fernando Valley area. Dr Keener is a physician who feels she is running out of time to find a suitable mate, and is attracted to a fellow doctor. When a tarot card reader gives her some accurate and devastating information, the physician is emotionally affected. Another character, Rebecca, unexpectedly finds herself pregnant at the age of 39, and decides to have an abortion - which is performed by Dr Keener. Other characters appear and reappear as the story unravels, including the tarot card reader, whose female lover is desperately ill.
